Table lamp providing direct, diffused light. Anodized aluminum base serves to contain excess power cord. Bakelite lamp-holder, painted to match the switch in the orange and black colors. Clear globe lamp is partially sandblasted to diffuse the light.
The beginnings of Flos (meaning “flower” in Latin) was born from a creative and brilliant idea. This was to create stunning objects for the home that originated with a light bulb. This would then change the italian market, by Flos using their innovative technologies to create custom pieces including the cocoon lamp. Flos design items for the home to create an unusual but contemporary aesthetic.
